Warzone Easter Egg: Graveyard Zombie Spawn

Updated: Jun 27, 2022

Season 4 just dropped, bringing with it Fortune's Keep. It is packed full of Easter Eggs. This is a guide to completing the Graveyard location one.

Within Fortune's Keep there are several Easter Eggs to complete. Today we're guiding you through the Graveyard quest. You'll get a zombie to spawn from a grave, that once killed, will drop some loot for you. It's a cool thing to do so let's get into it.

Location: Graveyard

Difficulty: Easy AF

  1. Light 3 Candles around the Graveyard

These candles can be found scattered around the graveyard, they won't always appear in the same position. They can be found on top of gravestones, in the crypts and inside the small buildings within the graveyard. The images above only show a few of the locations. It is random where and when they will spawn.

Press the button to 'Light Candle'. Do this 3 times and you'll be able to complete the Easter Egg.

2. Press F to pay respects.

Head to this tomb stone and "Press F to pay respects" obviously if you are on console this will be a different button, but you will be prompted on screen to press the correct button.

Your operator will salute the gravestone, thus paying thy respect'uth to the dead.

3. A Zombie spawns from the grave.

Once you've lit all the candles and paid respects a Zombie will spawn from the grave. It is easily killed as it's health pretty much matches that of an armoured player so it doesnt take more than a magazine to take it down.

When you have killed the Zombie, it will drop a bunch of loot. The best items we got when we did it were a self-revive and an armour satchel.

That's it, you've done it. Well done.

Bonus: Advanced Warfare reference.

"Press F to Pay Respects" became a meme after the launch of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare. Players had to approach a coffin of a fallen comrade and show their respects by pressing F (on PC). It has become a running joke in the Call of Duty community ever since.
