A brand-new bot mode has been added to Battlefield 6 called Casual Breakthrough. This plays like a traditional Breakthrough match where players must either defend or attack sectors moving the battle line from one location to another, but it is now heavily populated with bots, making it easier to get those eliminations for players who don't necessarily have the time or skill to exceed in public lobbies.
If you are looking to this new mode for progression reasons then there are a couple of things you'd probably like to know. Such as how does it affect levelling, weapon ranking, and other progressional advancements you can and can't get while playing this mode.
New Battlefield 6 Casual Breakthrough Bot Mode Added

Sometimes players want to jump into Battlefield without the intensity of a full PVP lobby so to create a more relaxed way to play while still earning progression and completing challenges, Battlefield has introduced Casual Breakthrough and its now live via the Multiplayer tab in the main menu.
What you can expect in Casual Breakthrough
Smaller teams - Each match has 16 real players (2 teams of 8) with 32 bots (2 teams of 16).
You can earn Career XP, Weapon XP, Battle Pass XP, and complete Challenges.
Full XP is rewarded for eliminating real players but reduced XP for bots.
Initial maps available include Siege of Cairo and Empire State.
What Casual Breakthrough won't offer
Dog Tags and Accolades.
Career Stat Updates (no boosting K/D in CB).
The announcement for this mode was met with mixed responses from many players praising the idea and implementation of such a mode into the franchise and others condemning it, with concerns that it'll somehow split up the games player-base.
We believe that this is a great idea for the Battlefield franchise to encourage players who maybe don't have the skills to keep up in public lobbies or just don't have the time to dedicate to the game. The online community often forgets that most players aren't as hardcore as those who engage online about the game.
