Modern Warfare II is out this month. Here is a list of everything you need to know about moving from Warzone and other Call of Duty titles to the new titles.

Modern Warfare II comes out this month. It is expected to be the biggest and best selling Call of Duty game of all time. MWII will wipe players slates clean, your cosmetic items and stats will not carry over. This is a list of everything you will and won't be able to take forward with you.

Cosmetic Items

You will not be able to use any of the cosmetic items you have earned or purchased in Warzone, Modern Warfare, Black Ops Cold War or Vanguard. Cosmetics will completely reset heading into MWII. As it stands the only cosmetics you will be able to use in Modern Warfare's sequel are the pre-order bonuses.

Records and Stats

This one is more specific to Warzone players. Although Warzone isn't going anywhere, your stats will not carry over to Warzone 2.0. Wins, kill counts and any other stat will be set to 0 for Warzone 2.0. It will be a completely fresh start.

Battle Pass & Tier Skips

The current Battle Pass, Season 5, is potentially the last for Warzone, MW, CW, and Vanguard. Any Tier Skips you have earned MUST be used during this season. Tier Skips do NOT carry forward into MWII. If you want to unlock everything in the current battle pass you must reach level 100 within the time limit.

COD Points

COD Points WILL carry over to the Modern Warfare II and Warzone 2.0. We advise you stop spending them on cosmetic items in the store and now save them for the upcoming game.

In Summary

  • Cosmetic Items (Operator skins, Weapon Blueprints etc)

  • Record (Wins, Kills, Deaths etc)

  • Battle Pass

  • Tier Skips

  • COD Points

As we previously stated, these games are going nowhere. Your Operators’ skins and weapon blueprints will always exist inside of these games, but they will not carry over to the new Call of Duty game as seen in previous years. Modern Warfare II and Warzone 2.0 will offer players a fresh start in terms of stats and collectible items.

MWII Campaign Early Access is October 20th.

Modern Warfare II launches October 28th.

Warzone 2.0 & DMZ arrive November 16th.
