Support for Call of Duty: Warzone's DMZ mode was pulled several months ago now in favour of Modern Warfare Zombies, a mode very similar but players battle the undead instead of human combatants.
So it may surprise some that a small update to the mode rolled out earlier this morning that fixes a few small bugs here and there. When we say small, we really do mean small.
DMZ Update Fixes
• Fixed an issue affecting Disguises, which are now reenabled in DMZ.
• Fixed an issue where saving a Loadout with the FR Avancer’s FR 5.56 Receiver Attachment could prevent Players from entering the Private Match menu.
• Fixed an issue allowing the TAQ-56 and TAQ-V to be equipped with 6 Attachments.
• Fixed an issue where the ‘Violent in Violet’ Callisto skin was missing eye makeup.
The popular Warzone 2.0 mode has not seen any changes or updates since last year, before the launch of Modern Warfare Zombies. Infinity Ward announced that updates and support for the mode would not continue with efforts being placed elsewhere.
Although this is a super lightweight update, it does show that a small team is safeguarding DMZ and fixing the little things where they can.
That being said it may still generate a small amount of money for Call of Duty as the Store and Bundles are still purchasable.
