When is the Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Early Access and Open Beta?

With just a few months before it launches, you might be wondering when is the Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Early Access and Open Beta are expected to take place, well, the good news is we can confirm the dates and requirements with you today.

Early Access and Open Beta's are designed to let players get hands on with the upcoming titles, like Black Ops 7. It gives the player a chance to find out if they like the game and want to purchase it but also provide essential feedback with what they do and don't like about it.

When is the Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Early Access and Open Beta?

The Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Early Access and Open Beta's will begin at the start of October, ending just before the launch of Battlefield 6 on October 10.

Early Access Beta

• October 2 - October 5

• 10am PT, 1pm ET, 6pm UK, 7pm CET

The Early Access Beta will be live for 72 hours, meaning it will end at 10am PT, 1pm ET, 6pm UK, and 7pm CET on October 5.

Open Beta

• October 5 - October 8

• 10am PT, 1pm ET, 6pm UK, 7pm CET

The Open Beta will be live for 72 hours, meaning it will end at 10am PT, 1pm ET, 6pm UK, and 7pm CET on October 8.

How to gain 'Early Access'

To get into the Early Access Beta you need to either pre-order Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, be subscribed via Xbox or PC Game Pass, or obtain a code, should this become an option.

How to gain access to the Open Beta

The Open Beta, is just that, Open. This means that everyone on console or PC can access the Black Ops 7 Beta without the need to pre-order the game or being subscribed to Xbox or PC Game Pass.

Digital / Physical Beta Codes

If you have pre-ordered Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 digitally you will instantly gain access to the Early Access Beta when it goes live on October 2. If you pre-ordered a physical copy, you should have received a "Beta Code" at the point of sale, which will enable entry to the Early Access Beta.

It remains unclear what content we can expect to see during the Early Access and Open Beta period. But, going by previous years we can likely expect to see a small selection of Multiplayer maps, weapons, operators, and more. It has become tradition for Call of Duty to offer special rewards for taking part in their Beta testing periods but what they are is unknown at this time. Stay tuned for more soon.
