WARZONE 2 X MODERN WARFARE II PATH OF THE RONIN EVENT GUIDE

The latest event in Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare II is underway. It includes unique challenges and rewards.

'Path of the Ronin' is the latest event to come to Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare II, it sets out 7 challenges for players to complete to earn unique rewards including emblems, operator skins, blueprints and even the Crossbow weapon. Some of the challenges are still locked behind a countdown timer. We will be updating this article as the challenge progress so be sure to stay tuned.

There are actually 2 paths in Path of the Ronin that players can take. The challenges can be unlocked in either Modern Warfare II Multiplayer or a different set of challenges can be obtained via Warzone 2.

Warzone 2 Path of the Ronin Challenges

• In Warzone, finish in the top 10 5 times.

• Restore honor 5 times in Resurgence matches.

• Complete 5 Bounty contracts.

Challenges 1 and 3 are pretty self-explanatory, survive long enough to be in the final 10 team/players in Resurgence and activate, find and kill the enemy in the Bounty contract respectively.

Restoring honor is a bit more complicated on how it works. Upon your first death in Ashika Island Resurgence you will drop a set of Dog Tags, you must recover this tags to "restore honor". The tricky part is that it is not as simple as dropping back in on your body as the player who killed you can collect the tags and basically run off with them. That being said, I have hardly encountered this during my time completing this challenge. You can also collect the tags of your teammates to complete this challenge.

Modern Warfare II Path of the Ronin Challenges

You can toggle between the Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare II path at any point. You can complete some in either or both earn all the rewards.

• Win 15 matches in any Multiplayer Game Mode.

• Get 100 Objective Defence Kills.

• Get 50 Operator Kills using Battle Rage

Winning 15 games is easy, just play and you'll gain wins naturally. A top tip is to play Infected, it's a fun mode and you are going to win nearly every single match as the Infected team almost always wins.

100 Objective Defence Kills are obtained in game modes like Domination or Hardpoint where you have to defend a point. Kill enemy players trying to retake the point and you'll be awarded a defence kill bonus and tally towards the event.

Battle Rage is a Field Upgrade that can be activated several times during a match. Get kills while under its effect. Note, the more kills you get while under the effects of Battle Rage the longer it lasts, get on a nasty streak to smash through this challenge.
