Fans of Rebirth Island and Fortune's Keep will be pleased to read that a new Resurgence map is finally coming to Warzone 2 during the Season 02 update. It has been several months since players who preferred the fast paced respawn version of the Battle Royale have had their own mode to play, the wait is nearly over. Call of Duty has begun teasing the maps location and theme.

The Resurgence map is called 'Ashika Island' and appears to be set on a Japanese island in the Pacific. The official Call of Duty Twitter page released a teaser video (as seen below) and a red outline of the map (as seen above).

These details confirm that the leaked image of a resurgence map for Warzone 2 a few months ago are 100% true. The image was doing the rounds on several twitter handles as well as notable Call of Duty News websites, like ours. Ahum

The new map will not only serve as a long overdue Resurgence map but will also be available for DMZ and Ground War for Multiplayer. DMZ will see a completely fresh set of Faction Missions specific to the new map.

More details are coming tomorrow so be sure to stay tuned to our website and our dedicated Call of Duty News twitter account for daily Warzone 2, DMZ and Modern Warfare II news, rumors and guides.
