Top 5 Games to Play on Xbox & PC Game Pass

| GNG Gaming News | Published: December 28, 2023 |

Game Pass remains one of the best deals in gaming. If you own an Xbox One, Series X or S, or a PC you can pay a monthly subscription to access over 150 games in the Microsoft library for no extra charge.

We decided it high time we stake our claim to our top 5 games to play on Game Pass. Whether you already owned one of the previously mentioned platforms or unwrapped one under the tree this Christmas, these are our favourite games available to play right now.

(In no particular order)

Forza Horizon 5

Forza remains one of the most popular Racing games on the market, outliving many other franchises in the genre. It is a graphically impressive game and offers hours of fun solo or with friends.

Explore the vibrant and ever-evolving open world landscapes of Mexico with limitless, fun driving action in hundreds of the world’s greatest cars.

High on Life

Humanity is being threatened by an alien cartel who wants to use them as drugs. It’s up to you to rescue and partner with charismatic, talking guns, take down Garmantuous and his gang, and save the world!

High on Life was created by Rick and Morty and Solar Opposites creator Justin Roiland. It offers a pretty hilarious single-player campaign and insane weapons that talk, crack jokes and eliminate enemies in funny ways.

Pay Day 3

PAYDAY 3 is the much-anticipated sequel to one of the most popular co-op shooters ever. Since its release, PAYDAY players have been reveling in the thrill of a perfectly planned and executed heist. That’s what makes PAYDAY a high-octane, co-op FPS experience without equal.

Pay Day 3 is fantastic to play with friends or rando's online.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

If by some miracle you haven't played Skyrim yet, then now is your chance as it is available on Game Pass. This, in our opinion, is the best game in the Elder Scrolls series.

Skyrim is set in an incredibly detailed, expansive world and offers the play endless choices in skills, paths, character building, and abilities. You'll find demons, skeletons, and dragons as you work towards becoming the most powerful person in the world.

Sea of Thieves

Now, we know we said right back at the beginning of this article that this list was in no particular order and we wouldn't be choosing favourites but Sea of Thieves is without a doubt our most played, most enjoyed game on Game Pass.

This open-world pirate game gives the player the choice to relax, complete quests across the open seas or hunt down other pirates and take everything they have just spent 5 hours collecting.

Although now a 5 year old game it has received endless updates, quality of life improvements, and even an official Pirates of the Caribbean storyline with Jack Sparrow. There is a steep learning curve with sailing and combat but it is totally worth the time.
