5 - Cocoon



Now, this title has nothing to do with the 1985 movie of the same name. Cocoon is an indie game from Jeppe Carlsen, the creator of Limbo and Inside. This should telling you everything you need to know about this superb puzzle platformer with a nice art style and soundtrack.


Cocoon is available to buy or play through Game Pass on Xbox and PC.


4 - Street Fighter 6



Street Fighter 6 is an comprehensive reimagining of the 1-on-1 fighter. SF6 is a revolutionary take on one of gaming's oldest franchises.


It comes with all your favourite characters and a brand-new single player World Tour mode, unlike any Street Fighter before it. You can create your own character and explore open-world locations where you can fight anybody you cross paths with.


3 - Diablo IV



The latest, and longest awaited, installment in the Diablo franchise. Diablo IV is an action RPG that allows the player to create a unique hero and explore treacherous dungeons and terrain with the hope of finding legendary gear.


Players can choose between five unique classes, Barbarian, Rogue, Sorcerer, Necromancer and Druid. Each with their own different set of skills and paths. Diablo IV is a fantastic game to play solo or with friends.

You are probably wondering why a game from 2005 is on a list of top games to play on the Xbox Series X | S? Well, this is a fully fledge remake, not just a remaster. It contains new enemies, mechanics, scares, and much better shooting and a complete graphical makeover.

It has been 13 years since the first Alan Wake game released from Remedy games. Alan Wake 2 is a spooky survival horror game with a trippy storyline.


In Alan Wake 2 your time is split between playing as troubled author, Alan Wake, and Saga Anderson in two standalone single-player adventures.


The latest Remedy release is a brilliant display of what the Xbox Series X can achieve.
