According to a recent post on the Stalker 2: Heart of Chernobyl official X/Twitter page, the game has been delayed until September 5, 2024.

The highly anticipated sequel hoped to release in Q1 of 2024 but due to "certain amount of technical imperfections" the developers have made the tough decision to delay the game once again.

This news comes just a day after Stalker 2: Heart of Chernobyl updated in-game images on their social media and Epic Store Page with newer, higher quality pictures that left fans speculating a release was imminent.

Although this news may come as a disappointment to some, it is a good sign that a video games studio is prepared to take their time and make sure they are releasing a quality product.

With September still about 9 months away, this should give the team the time they need to polish the game ready for launch.
