Fresh Call of Duty 2024, potentially called Black Ops Gulf War, rumors have begun to circulate online after Insider Gaming shared the latest leaked information about the upcoming COD title for this year and beyond.
Reportedly Call of Duty 2024 will be set during the Gulf War in the 1990's with development primarily being led by Treyarch. It will be the 6th installment in the Black Ops series.
What do the new rumors say about Treyarch's next title?

Black Ops Cold War protagonist Adler set to return
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III was the first campaign in the franchise to introduce an open-world element. This has obviously been a success as they aim to do it again but expand upon it.
The campaign will be an open-world with the option of Fast Travelling and Vehicles to move around the map. Black Ops Gulf War's campaign has been built from the ground up unlike its predecessor, MW3, that reused assets and locations already found in game and other titles.
Treyarch are said to be setting their focus on Multiplayer and Zombies, which is expected to return to its roots and be round-based rather than open world like Outbreak or Modern Warfare Zombies.
Allegedly, Call of Duty 2025 will follow suit and also include an open-world campaign but we are far enough out now that things might change. Sources suggest that this level of Campaign can be compared to the likes of Far Cry.
Call of Duty: Black Ops Gulf War is tipped to be released as early as October 2024.
