HOW TO UNLOCK THE 'FTAC SIEGE' FOR WARZONE 2.0 AND MODERN WARFARE II

With Season 03 Reloaded came two new pistols for players to unlock and use in combat. This is a guide on how to unlock the FTAC Siege automatic pistol.

Two new pistols have been added to Warzone 2.0, Modern Warfare II and DMZ with Season 03 Reloaded. They are the GS Magna and the FTAC Siege. Today, we are showing you how to unlock the latter of the two pistols, the FTAC Siege. Currently it is an absolute beast in Warzone 2.0 Ranked so be sure to unlock it before it gets a heavy nerf.

How to Unlock the FTAC Siege

There are 3 different ways you can obtain this weapon from either DMZ, Warzone 2.0 or Modern Warfare II.

  • Get 50 Sidearm Hipfire Kills on Operators

  • Extract via DMZ

  • Buy a Store Bundle containing it

Getting 50 sidearm Hip-fire kills is by far the easiest (and cheapest) option when it comes to unlocking this SMG pistol. The fastest way in fact is to equip Akimbo pistols like the X13 and head into Shipment 24/7. This method was so successful for me that I unlocked the FTAC Siege in a single game.

Extracting it via DMZ is slightly more complicated, you first need to find a player who is carrying this weapon to loot it from them and then exfil to safety with it. This requires a serious level of luck. Remember though that you can get a friend who has it unlocked to drop it for you before you exfil, but again this requires a level of skill and luck to extract with it if you are unfamiliar with DMZ.

Buy a bundle... Yup, you can skip this entire process and just buy a bundle from the store that contain this weapon.

Is the FTAC Siege worth the hassle?

It is absolutely worth your time to unlock this weapon at the moment, it acts way more like an SMG than it does a pistol with a high fire rate, low recoil and high TTK damage. It is absolutely dominating in PvP modes like Warzone 2.0 Ranked Play and DMZ. We expect a nerf for it fairly soon, once the bundle purchases die down obviously.
