DMZ Season 04 has introduced some huge changes to how players earn and unlock rewards during their time playing the game. The biggest change is the new Forward Operating Base UI within the Game modes menu. The FOB allows players to unlock and upgrade various new features to the mode. It is also the new, streamlined way of players to unlock their Insured Weapon Slots.
Knocking out as many of the Forward Operating Base objectives is advised to all players as it holds many helpful upgrades. Insured Weapon Slot 2 and 3 challenges can be found within the FOB tab 'Weapons Locker'.
Insured Weapon Slot 2 Unlock Requirements:
Extract 3 IFAKS found at Hospitals
Extract 1 AFAK or large medical bag
Extract 1 enemy operator's weapon
Insured Weapon Slot 3 Unlock Requirement:
Extract 5 GPU's
Extract 10 Gold Bars
Extract 8 Gold Skulls
Extract 10 Enemy Operator's Weapons
The best thing about this new system is that you can work on unlocking both of these Insured Weapon slots simultaneously, extracting the items in any order.
Once you have completed both sets of challenges you will have access to 3 Insured Weapon slots, this allows you to build multiple weapons and enter the DMZ with 2 fully customized weapons, giving you an advantage over other players.
