How to Find Better Random Squads in Call of Duty: Warzone

| GNG Gaming News | Published: January 13, 2024 |

Finding the right people or squads that suit your play style can be tricky in Call of Duty: Warzone. But, there is a feature built into the game that so many players overlook or forget exists to help you narrow down and find the players you are looking for.

The 'Find Party' feature has been included in Warzone for years now. It allows you to choose various options when searching for a random squad of players to suit how you prefer to play from competitive to causal, language choice, and even if you prefer a hot-drop or not.

The Find a Party feature is located in the main menu for Warzone. Next to where it says 'Start: Find a Match' you'll see a magnifying glass with 'Find a Party' clicking on this will take you to the preferences page.

Here you will find a multitude of options to narrow down your search of potential squad-mates and find people who best suit your needs. The options include:

  • Browse Parties (Find already formed squads)

  • Find Players (Recruit individual players to your squad)

  • In Game Communication - Voice, Text, Ping Only, No Preference

  • Main Language - English, French, Spanish, German, etc.

  • Primary Playstyle - Competitive, Casual, No Preference

  • Secondary Playstyle - Hot Drop, Slow and Steady, No Preference

  • View Party (See players in the squad)

  • Edit Party Name (Give your squad a cool af name)

  • Leave Party (for when you are ready to bounce)

This system isn't always on the money, it all depends on who is searching for a match with similar options selected to you. At quieter times you may be paired with players who have chosen different playstyles but it is still a solid feature that few people utilize.
