GTA 6 Leaker Sentenced to an Indefinite Hospital Order

The Hacker responsible for leaking the Grand Theft Auto 6 trailer ahead of it's scheduled release has been sentenced to an indefinite hospital order meaning he could spend the rest of his life behind bars.

Infamous Hacker, Arion Kurtaj, known as Lapsus$ online, has been handed an indefinite hospital order after cyber-attacking several large companies including Uber, Nvidia, and now Rockstar Games, costing this giant firms nearly $10 million.

The Judge handling Kurtaj's case deemed that his skills and desire to commit cyber-crime meant he remained a high risk to the public. He will remain in a secure hospital for life unless doctors deem him no longer a danger.

Whilst in custody, Arion had violent outbursts, causing injury and damage of property. Doctors deemed that, due to his acute autism, he was unfit to stand trial.

Kurtaj, who was currently on bail for his attacks on Nvidia and British Telecom, was able to hack Rockstar Games using only a Amazon Fire Stick, Hotel TV, and a Smart Phone.

Using this method, Kurtaj was able to obtain 90 clips of the unreleased clips from Grand Theft Auto VI.

He then sent threats to the company via their Slack messaging system, demanding that Rockstar personally reach out to him or he would begin leaking Source Code from the game.

It is unclear how much money Arion Kurtaj or his Cyber-gang have made from their exploitations but he and other members have landed themselves serious jail time.
