FEDERAL JUDGE CONFIRMS 'CALL OF DUTY: MODERN WARFARE III' WILL RELEASE NOVEMBER 2023

Earlier last year Microsoft announced that it would be acquiring Activision Blizzard for an eye-watering $69 billion. It is safe to say that a lot of the major players like Sony, Google and Amazon were not pleased about it. The American FTC, a commission that makes sure consumers are protected from such deals, lobbied against the transaction and a subsequent court case has ensued.

This court case came to a close last night, with the Federal Judge taking some time to consider what their verdict will be. But, in a weird twist of events this same Federal Judge, Judge Corley, announced that the next Call of Duty title would be Modern Warfare III and it will release in November of 2023.

Rumours have been circulating for several months now that the next COD title will release November 10th and it is indeed a continuation of the MWII storyline. Although the exact date wasn't shared we can say with 100% certainty that 2023's Call of Duty is Modern Warfare III.

Not much is known about the setting or what to expect from the upcoming game but we know that a new Warzone map will release with it and development is being led by Sledgehammer Games.
