We're hardly half way through Modern Warfare II's life-cycle and details are already being leaked online for Call of Duty 2023. Yes, it includes Zombies.
Call of Duty 2023 details are already starting to leak online. We've known for some time now that COD '23 will be developed and lead by Sledgehammer Games, the Studio behind the recent 'classics' Call of Duty: WWII and Call of Duty: Vanguard. Sledgehammers next title will be a direct sequel to Infinity Ward's Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II.
The folks over at Insider Gaming have shared some leaks with the community that give us an insight to the year ahead for Call of Duty. Reveal date, Beta dates, Release date and other content included.
Call of Duty 2023 Release Schedule:
Game Reveal - August 1
Beta Weekend 1 (PlayStation) - October 6 - October 10
Beta Weekend 2 (All Platforms) - October 12 - October 16
Campaign Early Access - November 2
Full Release - November 10
The storyline will pick up where Modern Warfare II left off. We won't go into that too much here as it contains spoilers, but expect to see the return of Makarov. The most interesting news from these supposed leaks is that there will be some form of Zombies content with Modern Warfare 2.5. Not much is known as it stands but if you are hoping for round-based zombies maps, don't hold your breath.
As always when dealing with leaks we do have to take it with a pinch of salt. This information could change or become out of date, or simply just be made up so don't go ahead and get a Captain Price Zombie tattoo just yet.
As more details come to light we will be sharing them right here on our website so be sure to stay tuned. Follow us on Twitter for daily Call of Duty news, guides, rumours and more.
