Battlefield 6 REDSEC will launch on October 28 and players can earn Twitch Drops by watching their favourite Twitch streamers from launch so here is how you can earn them. Twitch Drops are special exclusive rewards players can earn from spending several hours in content creators chats, earn through watch-time.


Battlefield 6 will be giving players four exclusive rewards for watching REDSEC streams, the franchises latest crack at a Battle Royale mode. REDSEC is a free-2-play experience with all the classic Battlefield features such as classes, destruction, and more.

How to Link your EA Account to Twitch

First of all you need to ensure that your EA account, so that's the account you use for Battlefield 6 is connected to your Twitch account, otherwise you won't be able to redeem the rewards and you'll miss out. That being said, connecting your accounts can be done retroactively after you've earned them.


Link Accounts

  • Log in to your EA Account at EA Connected Accounts. Select "Twitch," then "Continue" to sign in and authorize the connection.


Watch Streams

  • Tune into eligible Battlefield REDSEC Season 1 streams on Twitch (check the Drops tab for active ones). Watch for the required time (e.g., 1-3 hours per reward, varies by item).


Claim Rewards

  • Go to your Twitch Inventory (twitch.tv/drops/inventory), claim the drops, then redeem them in-game via Battlefield's menu or at EA Redeem.



Battlefield REDSEC Twitch Drop Rewards

You'll earn the Battlefield REDSEC Twitch Drops by watching streamers who are playing REDSEC from October 28 onwards. You'll need watch for a total of four hours to earn all four rewards.


Twitch Drop Rewards

  • 'Hitchhiking' Vehicle Decal - 1 Hour watch-time.

  • 'Marauder' Vehicle Skin - 2 Hours watch-time.

  • 'Highland Hunter' Weapon Package - 3 Hours watch-time.

  • 'No Mercy' Soldier Skin - 4 Hours watch-time.


You will be able to earn these exclusive Twitch Drop rewards from October 28 until November 4, giving you a total of 1 week to watch 4 hours of Battlefield REDSEC on Twitch. Sadly, these rewards seem exclusive to Twitch, there is nothing in the way of rewards for watch-time on YouTube.


Once you have earned the Twitch Drops be sure to head over to your Twitch Inventory and link your account if you haven't already before hitting the claim button. Note, you must physically claim these items through the Inventory, they will not automatically be added to your account.


Once claimed you will be able to access these cosmetic items via Battlefield 6 or REDSEC.
