Field Equipment is designed to give players more options and a tactical advantage on the battle field. It has been around for many years so it is no surprise that it is returning in Modern Warfare III. We've been given a taste of what is to come with the currently on-going Beta on PlayStation with Xbox and PC set to join in the fun within a few days.
All Field Equipment in the MWIII Beta
Trophy System: Deployable autonomous defense system that destroys incoming projectiles such as grenades and rockets. The Trophy System will destroy 3 projectiles before disabling.
Comm Scrambler: Disables communication within its radius. Enemies will not be able to activate Killstreaks whilst within its range.
Med Box: Deploys a box of medical supplies for you and your squad.
Munitions Box: Deploys a box of ammo and equipment for you and your squad.
A.C.S.: Stands for 'Automated Computer Spike' this slowly captures points and temporarily hacks nearby enemy devices.
